Harter Recycling is building a new state of the art 20,000 sq. ft. Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2014. The new MRF will include the Ballistic Separator as well as the equipment to recover paper, plastics, glass, cardboard and metals from the waste stream. Harter’s new facility expected to employ 15-20 people.
Harter Recycling is a full service waste pick-up and recycling company that has been serving the tri-state area of Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota for over 50 years.
The MetalTech Systems Ballistic Separator will efficiently separate fiber from rigid containers as well as removes glass from the waste stream. The Ballistic Separator is a lower cost alternative to less effective disk screen technology.
